We acknowledge the Creator-God as our Heavenly Father, infinitely perfect and intimately acquainted with all our ways. As the first person of the Trinity, the Father is the source and ruler of all things and is fatherly in His relationship with creation in general and believers in particular. And although there is one eternal, all-powerful, all-knowing, holy, just, loving, true, and unchangeable God, in the unity of the one God there are three divine persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—equal in power but distinct in roles. See Psalm 103:19; Matthew 28:19; and 1 Peter 1:2.
We believe that God’s design for marriage is a lifelong, exclusive relationship between one man and one woman. We understand that intimacy is a sacred part of this union, and we hold to the belief that sexual relationships outside of this marriage–whether heterosexual, homosexual, or otherwise, are not in alignment with God’s intended purpose for intimacy.
We approach these beliefs with humility, seeking to honor God’s Word while extending grace, love, and compassion to all, recognizing that we are all called to live out our faith with kindness and understanding. This understanding is rooted in the teachings of Scripture, including Genesis 2:24-25, Exodus 20:14, 17, Leviticus 18:22-23, Leviticus 20:13, 15-16, Matthew 19:4-6, 9, Romans 1:18-31, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10,15-20, 1 Timothy 1:8-11, and Jude 7.
We believe that God created the human race as male and female, each with distinct and purposeful design. We also believe that seeking to adopt a gender other than one’s biological gender is not in alignment with God’s intended plan for humanity. The Bible encourages us to maintain a clear distinction between male and female as part of honoring God’s creation. While we hold to these beliefs, we recognize the importance of approaching this topic with love, grace, and compassion.
We seek to walk alongside others with understanding and kindness, even as we uphold the teachings of Scripture regarding gender and identity. Our goal is to honor God’s design while fostering an environment of care and respect for all individuals (Genesis 1:27; Deuteronomy 22:5).
We believe in God’s redemptive power to bring healing and restoration, and that embracing one’s biological sex as a gift from God is central to His design for each person. We affirm that our identity, as created at conception and manifest at birth, reflects God’s purpose and intention. With compassion and grace, we support individuals in navigating these deeply personal experiences by providing love, guidance, and encouragement, while upholding the belief that living in alignment with God’s design brings wholeness and peace (Genesis 1:27; Romans 1:18-32).
